About Us

Owners, Tim and Manuela Frazier opened the doors of their “European style” bistro, the Cedar Street Bridge Café, in early 2008. Having spent 16 years stationed in Europe with the Air Force…where Tim met and married his German-born wife, Manuela…the Frazier’s decided it was time to bring the hospitality and delicacies of these cafes to Sandpoint. With the natural beauty of the lakes and mountains that surround the area and the history of the Cedar Street Bridge, Sandpoint was the picturesque setting they were looking for.

Connect with family and friends

Tim and Manuela have created an atmosphere in the café that makes people feel welcome. It is a great place to meet friends or family for a “Tirimisu Mocha” or a “Chicken Breast Panini” with a scoop of Italian gelato made fresh onsite. The Cedar Street Bridge Café stands by the European culture of taking life a little slower and enjoying great company. Tim and Manuela not only prepare delicious food and drinks for the residents of Sandpoint, but have greeted visitors from neighboring Canada to the outreaches of Australia!

Cedar Street Bridge a Vital Link in History

The café actually sits inside The Cedar Street Bridge, which was once a strong influence in the history of Sandpoint. It was the vital link from downtown Sandpoint across the Sand Creek to the train Depot in the 1930’s. The bridge bustled with activity back in its heyday and seems to welcome the many visitors and local residents that the Cedar Street Bridge Café brings to it once again.

Hands-on Business Owners

As a family business, Tim and Manuela are heavily involved in all areas. Not only do they prepare and serve the food and drinks, but are also involved in the day to day operations such as ordering product, answering phones, growing their business and expanding their product line. They cater small functions for groups and businesses who want something a little more extraordinary.

Tim and Manuela are happy to report that positive feedback from customers keep coming in. After all, it is their own business they are working so hard to build.
