THE DIFFERENCE

Unlike ice cream, a fine gelato has a dense, creamier texture containing much less air.  Ice cream can consist of 60% air by volume compared to 20% in gelato which results in a far superior taste. Gelato is a healthy choice with less fat content and calories from the heavy creams and buttermilk found in ice cream. Cream and buttermilk also tend to coat the tongue and taste buds robbing the full sensation of taste. Gelato allows the consumer to revel in GUILTLESS PLEASURE.
